Testing Information

Georgia HS Writing Test make up will be held on Feb. 29, 2012. Sign up for re-testing is due Feb. 10th.  Seniors will be signed up through their counselor. Juniors who have not already signed up through advisement will need to come the career center during lunches from Feb.6-9th to sign up. Georgia HS Graduation Test will be held the week of March 19th. Seniors who need to re-test will be signed up through their counselor. Juniors testing for the first time will not need to sign up. On Feb. 23rd and 24th they will have an opportunity to review their transcripts with their advisor and counselor to determine which tests are needed as a result of the new EOCT policy. Tutoring information will be provided at that time. Former students can contact Ms. Medley at jacqueline.medley@cobbk12.org.

Spring Semester Open Registration

Open registration for the Spring Semester will be Jan 10-12, 8am-12pm.

Please be aware that enrollments during open registration may result in your student starting school up to TWO (2) school days after they are registered to encompass the large number of anticipated Spring Enrollments. The processing lag is a result of the SCHS Counseling Dept inputting new enrollments and creating new student schedules in addition to schedule changes for the rest of our student body (approx. 2000).

Required documents which MUST be presented at time of enrollment:

• Georgia Certificate of Immunization (form 3231)    
• Georgia Eye, Ear, & Dental (form 3300)
• Proof of Birth
• 2 Proofs of  Residency
• Social Security Card or Number
  
• Transcript/Withdrawal form from prior school attended
• Any Special Student Services documents if applicable (IEP, 504)
• Non Parental Affidavit if the head of household is not the parent or legal guardian
• Statement of legal residence if the head of household is living with another family without proof of residency
