Members from the South Cobb Science Club participated in the Science Bowl in Savannah, GA on February 26 to 27th. These students earned a 6th place ranking in the State of Georgia. Additionally, other Science Club members participated in the Science Olympiad held at Southern Polytechnic State University on February 27th. They had 6 fifth place, 2 seventh place, and 2 eighth place finishes. The team competed against 31 other schools from the Atlanta area. Congratulations on a job well done by the students and the team sponsors--Mr. Alvarez, Mr. McCord, Ms. Barry, and Mrs. De Rosa.
