Late Summer School Registration

Late Summer School Registration will be taking place at SCHS on  June 4^th from 8 – 12pm in our FTA Foyer.  Tuition for summer school is $550 for 1 unit and $275 for a ½ unit.  If you are interested in attending summer school, please contact/email your Professional School Counselor for more details or visit Summer School and Online Credit Recovery.

South Cobb High School Graduation - May 24th, 2013

The South Cobb High School Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 7p.m. Graduation will take place at Cathedral of Turner Chapel.  Turner Chapel is located at 492 North Marietta Parkway | Marietta, GA 30060|http://turnerchapelame.org/

GHSGT Results + Waiver/Variance Info

Results from the March 2013 GHSGT administration have been disseminated to students who sat for the exam. Students needing to retest during the July window have been contacted by their school counselor, however, if a student has been absent or holds a Cert. of Performance they will need to contact/email their counselor to sign up to retest by May 17, 2013.

December Graduation Info Meeting

Attention Rising Seniors (class of 2014), the upcoming December 2013 Graduate Informational Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 24^th during homeroom in the Theater.

Any rising senior who is interested in graduating for December 2013 will need to see Dr. Moses in the FTA building to receive an OFFICIAL pass to attend the meeting. Students who do not have a pass to attend the meeting will not be admitted. (Joy.Moses@cobbk12.org or 770 819 2611 ext 486)

College Rep Lunch Visit ~ 4/24/13

There will be college admission representatives in the Career Center/Main Cafeteria during 3rd block lunch on 4/24/13. Students do not need to sign up in advance and are welcome to attend during their class’ scheduled lunch.

Driver’s Education Academy 2012-2013

Safe America Transportation Academy will again be offered at South Cobb High School. The Academy is open to any student who will be 15 years or older by May 31.

   Required Informational Meeting—April 23 at 6 PM in the Media Center
   Maximum Class Size—40 (sign up is on a first come basis)
   Cost of Course—$50
   Dates of Course—May 28-31 and June 3 (8-4:30).

** This price does not include the driving portion; however, you will get a discount for that.
