Brandon Allen - Brandon is a great student. His compassion for learning has increased his ability to achieve successfully at a higher level. He attends class everyday energetically and with a smile on his face. His energy provides us with that lasting boost we need to end our day on a sound note. Thanks to this young man we can truly say "Failure has never been an option..." (Barbara Mitchell - English)

 
Brandy Nelson - Brandy is a very personable young lady, who always has a smile on her face and always has a great attitude. She is very friendly, is well-liked by her peers, and puts forth great effort in class and on her assignments. She never misses school, is always on time for class, and is very helpful to me as well. It has been a joy having her in class. (Amy Perkins - Social Studies)

 
Da'Nika Anderson Gary - Da'Nika has grown and matured into a wonderful young lady. She has learned from the errors of her ways and is changing her life to better not only her future, but those around her. She speaks to the younger students about avoiding typical high school pitfalls and encourages the seniors to not suffer from the dreaded "senioritis". Da'Nika has come a long way. I am so very proud of her. Her future is truly bright. (Jacqui Valentine - Business)

 
Kendra Gordon - Kendra always listens and takes notes. She is successful in math due to hard work. She is always respectful of me and her classmates. This semester is the second time I have had the pleasure to have her on my roll. Kendra also participatesin track and field here at South Cobb. I consider her a great student whom others may emulate. It is with great pride that I nominate Kendra Gordon as [an] Eagle of the Week.

Kamille Mamaril – Words cannot express why Kamille deserves this recognition. In every class endeavor, she strives to outdo her best performance, revising essays and performance projects. She is also a dedicated Decathelon team member, and her devotion to studying 10 events in such a faithful manner is total. She never fails to deliver on a deadline, and she sets the bar high for her peers as well, encouraging them to excel. She is an academic role model! On a personal level, and encouraging of others. She will work with anyone in a group and play to their strengths and talents. She is everything an Eagle should be and more – strong, determined, faithful and full of spirit! (Dr. Cherry)

 

 

 

Filiberto Garcia – Filiberto has been learning English for the past two-three years here at SCHS. He has progressed with his writing and his spoken English has greatly improved. He has recently started really working hard to graduate and is friendly, as well as helpful to other students. Filiberto is becoming an excellent leader in class and is exhibiting a strong character in and out of the classroom. He is taking his life here in [the United States] as a stepping stone to a bright and honorable future. (Jennifer Pritt)

 

 

 

Alexis “Zhane” Moore – Zhane and matured so much over the past two years. She is showing that growth and maturity through her performance in AP Biology. She is learning more about herself and Biology than I think she even expected! I am so glad she is in my class and has been part of my last two years.  J  (Henley Sawicki)
