My goals are to help ease the transition of ESOL students into mainstream. I want to help them grasp the language through learning via literature and cultural events. The English language is widely used, and I want to make sure that each student, no matter where they are from, can put into practice the English that I teach them.

I love izzit.org. It is not an ESOL site, but has great information for teachers (not dated!)

I have a BA in Journalism. I wrote for two newpapers in West Virginia and worked as a public relations person for the West Virgina Chamber of Commerce.  I also have a MAT in Education. My certification is in English.

I was born in Casper, Wyoming (yes, the friendly ghost).  I was raised in West Virginia, but I moved to Atlanta in 1996.
