October 30th Game Workers

Hello Team!

Here are Friday's game workers.

The football sponsors as well as special guests and community leaders will be at the game on Friday.  You will greet and assist the Booster club throughout the night.  You will need to wear your casual Eagle Ambassador Uniform, with comfortable white tennis shoes and your ID.  If you have questions on what that is you may review it on the website ( http://www.cobb.k12.ga.us/~southcobb/launcher.asp?website=http://southcobbhs.typepad.com/ea ) under guidelines. 

You need to check in and sign in with Coach Scott or Coach Glass at the time of arrival so that you can know how and what time you can eat.  We should be at or near the gazebo on the home side.   

The following students are to report to the Gazebo at 4:30 on Friday October 30th, ask for Mrs. Denise Jackson :

Mariah C., Leslie W., Isaiah S., Lorren B.

Gazebo team: you will need to set up the Gazebo.  Look by the Band concession stand on the home side and you should see a set of white tables. 80% of them are for your area.  You will need at least 20 chairs. Be kind and ask Mr. Dusty or Mr. Leon for assistance with getting them.  Coach Scott will review your other duties.

The following students are to report to the Concession Stand on the Visitor side at 5:45 ask for Mrs. Cynthia:

Kiah K., Armin B., Uchenna O. 

Concessions crew: Do what ever Mrs. Cynthia needs to keep it running clean and smooth!!

Come in at the pass gate.  To keep warm get a long sleeve white cotton shirt to wear under your ambassador shirt.  If it is raining bring your rain coat or something with a hood and make sure you have your ID displayed in front .

Your duties are as follows: 

Check with Mrs. Denise on if a cooler with drinks needs to be run to the press box and how many need to be fed.  Clean the Gazebo tables and make sure the area is ready to receive guest and food.

Run food to the press box on both sides (home team - home side, visitor team - visitor side).

Keep your assigned area clean and orderly and stay in that area and await further instruction!!

Help out in any way they need you to for the entire game. Do not leave until you have been dismissed or you have notified us that you need to leave early.

Hours - Stay on top of it

Hi team!

The volunteer hours you work need to be documented and signed with in 30 days of the event.  If you bring them to the mandatory meetings, we will sign them after the meeting or before.  If it was an event that was approved by us for you to work, you must follow the guidelines we gave you in order to get credit for the hours.

If you have hours that STILL have not been signed as of 10/28/09 then you must bring them to us and allow at least one hour for us to review all of your hours and properly document them.  These hours need to be signed before 12/12/09 so that you do not run the risk of loosing them.

October Mandatory Meeting Update

Hi Team!!

Due to Early Release being on Wednesday this week, our October Mandatory meeting has been moved to next Wednesday at 3:45 in room 114c.  We have a lot of important information to share and introduce for all the things that will be going on up through the rest of the semester and into the next.

Wear your uniforms on next Wednesday 10/28/09 instead of on 10/21/09.

This is a reminder that our next MANDATORY MEETING IS ON WEDNESDAY October 21st, 2009 at 3:35-4:30 in room 114c.

If you have a schedule conflict and you are not a senior who has already missed two meetings, you need to notify us before 10/20/09. Seniors, be mindful that you are not allowed to miss more than 2 meetings in your senior year.  See the tab under the guidelines for more information.

Come in at the pass gate.  To keep warm get a long sleeve white cotton shirt to wear under your ambassador shirt.  If it is raining bring your rain coat or something with a hood and make sure you have your ID displayed in front .

Your duties are as follows: 

Check with Mrs. Mandy on if a cooler with drinks needs to be run to the press box and how many need to be fed.  Clean the Gazebo tables and make sure the area is ready to receive guest and food.

Run food to the press box on both sides (home team - home side, visitor team - visitor side).

Keep your assigned area clean and orderly and stay in that area and await further instruction!!

Help out in any way they need you to for the entire game.

The football sponsors as well as special guests and community leaders will be at the game on Friday.  You will greet and assist the Booster club throughout the night.  You will need to wear your casual Eagle Ambassador Uniform, with comfortable white tennis shoes and your ID.  If you have questions on what that is you may review it on the website ( http://www.cobb.k12.ga.us/~southcobb/launcher.asp?website=http://southcobbhs.typepad.com/ea ) under guidelines. 

You need to check in with Coach Scott or Coach Glass at the time of arrival so that you can know how and what time you can eat.  We should be at or near the gazebo on the home side.   

The following students are to report to the Gazebo at 5:45 on Friday August 28th, ask for Mrs. Mandy :

Welcome to the Eagle Ambassador Website!

The South Cobb Eagle Ambassadors is a demanding leadership program that represents the best of South Cobb to our campus and community through service.  If you have a passion for helping make South Cobb great through excellence in leadership, we are interested in you.

Due to the demands of this team, we rely heavily on communication through e-mail and texting.  Having a e-mail account and checking it regularly as well as having a reliable contact number are requirements for membership with this team.  If you are still interested in one of the very few remaining spots on this team please see the following instructions.

Below are links to the documents needed for your application and teacher recommendation.  You will also need to complete a essay according to the requirements listed on the application.

All components of your application are due to Coach Chandra Scott’s room, 114c, or e-mail addresses: southcobbambassadors@gmail.com or coach.glass@gmail.com by 3:30pm on 9/4/09.  Any incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
